Toyling game 01

Fuji City

A tiny, procedural city movie in an instant-photo frame: moving people, homebound cars and motorcycles, an east-to-west day/night cycle, original synthesized sound, and film-inspired colour treatments.

What you can do

  • Visit 19 destinations

Original, Paris, Munich, Istanbul, Seattle, New York, London, Ibiza, Tokyo, Mexico City, Singapore, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Lisbon, Kyoto, Bruges, Dublin, Dubrovnik and Antalya — each with its own water, buildings, traffic, driving side and clock.

  • Spot 102 landmark motifs

At least five per destination, drawn as original simplified miniatures and placed only on land.

  • Add traffic with a click

Click a road (or press L, aim with the arrow keys and press Enter) to add a car or motorcycle. Crowded clicks can cause collisions.

  • Call the rescue crews

Helicopters carry wrecks to the junkyard, where a long-necked guard watches the crusher, and an old steam train collects the packed container.

  • Read the postcard

Each print's white footer holds an original, handwritten-style two-line poem, signed with an absurd honorary title.

  • Watch the water

Boats follow the rivers and coast, and once in a while a whale or beluga surfaces for a stylized cameo.

Fuji City runs as a single page with no install. It supports keyboard controls, light and dark appearances, and reduced-motion settings.

Fuji City is a stylized, procedurally generated miniature, not an accurate street map or driving simulator. Landmarks are original simplified drawings. Film treatments and instant-paper proportions are visual approximations, not official Fujifilm simulations or licensed Polaroid products. Sound is synthesized locally.
