duell

A little curiosity. A friendly rivalry. Five original text questions, four options and one point per correct answer. Speed only breaks a tie: the player who spent less time on their correct answers takes it.

Five questions

What you can do

  • Duel in five questions

Both players answer the same five questions, with 20 to 40 seconds each depending on their length. Keys 1 to 4 or A to D answer, and Enter continues.

  • Take on Pip

Pip is a clearly labelled simulated opponent, not a live AI model. It answers 2 to 7 seconds in and gets about 72% of Easy, 55% of Medium and 35% of Hard questions right.

  • Challenge a friend

On duell's server, a friend joins through a private link or an eight-character code, and a rematch brings new questions. The browser demo has no server, so it plays Pip only.

  • Learn as you play

Each reveal shows both picks and a short explanation. Results let you revisit missed questions, and offline practice drills 12 separate questions per language with no timer.

  • Play in four languages

English, German, Spanish and Turkish, with 60 original questions each. The question language is fixed for each duel, and every player picks their own interface language.

  • Pick your look

Switch between Liquid Glass, a dark Apple-inspired appearance, and Material, a light Google Material 3-inspired one, at any time, even mid-duel.

The demo runs duell's own game server inside the page, so your answers, scores and practice packs stay in this browser. Play Pip or use offline practice. Friend duels need duell's shared server, so they aren't part of the demo.

duell is an independent prototype, not affiliated with QuizDuel or MAG Interactive. Pip is a simulated opponent, not a live AI model. Liquid Glass and Material are browser interpretations of Apple- and Google-inspired designs, not native components. Questions and translations are original prototype content. duell's server can also generate experimental AI question sets; they are off in the demo.
